Great post. I am facing a couple of these problems.
One thing to keep in mind is that if the lockout continues, many of these teams are incredibly undervalued, particularly the long shots. In a shortened season — whether it be 6, 8 or 9 games — what’s to say that a crappy team, even a team like the Bills, couldn’t get hot?
With a favorable schedule and a little luck, any team is capable of rattling off 4 or 5 wins to make the playoffs.
I’m not saying I’d take the Bills at 100/1, but teams like the Texans or even the Dolphins, you’d think, will have some extra value.
